I investigate one agreed issue and give you a written diagnosis: what’s failing, the evidence behind it and what to do next.

You receive the diagnosis within five business days of our agreed start, once the required access and information are available. The findings are yours to keep, no matter who does the repair.

Then, get it fixed. From USD $750

The repair is quoted separately. I’ll explain how I will fix it, the work involved and you approve a fixed price before I start. I’ll get the issue fixed by the agreed deadline or you don’t pay.

For repairs, we agree on the fix, the deadline and what I need from you before I start. If I miss the deadline, you get every dollar back, diagnosis included. Then you choose: I still finish the fix free, or I hand over my notes so anyone can pick it up.

If my work causes a problem, the original issue or a new one, I fix it at no charge. Platform changes and changes made by others are quoted as new work.

Step 1: The review, USD $750

I don’t give generic checklists. I dig into your numbers, your site and your customers, then give you:

• What’s getting in the way, in plain English.
• What I’d change, and why.
• A target for the improvement and how it’ll be measured.
• A fixed price to carry it out, if more work makes sense.

You get the review within five business days of our agreed start, once I have the access and information I need. If it’s late, I refund the review fee. The plan is yours to keep, whether or not you hire me to carry it out.

Step 2: The project, from USD $3,000

You’re not hiring a developer who doesn’t know your numbers, or a consultant who can’t build the fix. I combine coaching and business experience with development expertise, so I’ll help you find the right thing to build. Then I build it.

The $750 you paid for the review comes off the price. Bigger jobs, like connecting several tools, cost more. Your review sets the exact scope and a fixed price before you commit, including any ongoing software costs.

I carry out the work, test it, and hand over documentation and a recorded walkthrough.

My guarantee to you

Before I start, you and I agree:

• What I’ll do, e.g. every order automatically triggers a thank-you card in the post: one for first-time buyers, another for repeat customers.
• The target, e.g. 1 in 4 first-time buyers order again within 90 days.
• The tests that prove it works, e.g. a test first order gets the first-time card at the right address, and a second order gets the repeat-customer card.
• The deadline.
• What I need from you.

You pay the final balance once the tests pass. If the target isn’t hit by the deadline, I refund the full project fee, review included.

Why I do this

My biggest regret from running my own business is not having a coach. I got stuck in the day-to-day and lost sight of growing it. I sold it in the end, but I think it would have gone a lot better with someone in my corner. Helping owners avoid that is the work I love most. Nothing excites me more than digging into a problem and figuring it out with you.

Anything I build or fix for you is quoted first, at 15% off my standard project prices. The diagnosis and plan are free, so you only pay for the work itself. If something breaks, tell me and you’ll have a plan by the end of the next business day.

Not happy with your first month? I’ll refund it in full. After that, if something isn’t working and I can’t put it right, I’ll refund your most recent month.

Every project gets the same promise as my other work: before I start, you and I agree the target, the tests that prove it works and the deadline. If the target isn’t hit by the deadline, I refund that project’s fee.

No contract. Cancel before your next billing date and you won’t be charged again. I’d rather you stay because it’s working, not because you’re locked in.
